The Government of Alberta's Director of Facility Planning and Architecture, Brian has been a champion of sustainable design, using LEED® tools, since 2001. He has overseen a number of city LEED building projects and co-wrote the civic sustainable buildings policy in 2005. He has organized, and been a speaker at, sustainable building symposiums and represents the city’s sustainable design interests at federal and regional gatherings of municipal authorities.
